Create SEPA QR Code generates an EPC/SEPA payment QR code that can be scanned to prefill a SEPA credit transfer in supported banking applications.

It produces a standardized payload where the currency is always EUR, in line with the EPC specification and not configurable.

You provide the beneficiary and payment details, and the feature formats them into the EPC QR structure for consistent interoperability.

To comply with EPC rules, you must fill in either remittance_reference or remittance_text, but never both at the same time.

This helps ensure the payment contains either a structured reference or an unstructured message without ambiguity.

The feature also enforces the EPC payload size constraint, keeping the total QR payload under 331 bytes to avoid scan or import failures.

Because long beneficiary names and lengthy remittance text can exceed this limit, it is especially important to keep these fields concise.

Use this feature for invoices, subscription payments, on-site payments, or any workflow where users can scan a code instead of manually entering IBAN and payment information.

It is suitable for embedding in PDFs, emails, or checkout screens where a quick and error-resistant payment initiation is needed.
